Make Lenovo’s retail identity work in the real world
The assignment was larger than reproducing a store drawing. Each location brought a different footprint, site condition and opening schedule.
Lenovo needed one execution partner who could protect the approved customer experience while adapting the technical detail to individual sites. That meant connecting drawings, production, services, branding, logistics and installation instead of managing each as a separate package.
RETAIL1’s responsibility was to carry each store from site input to launch readiness, with one programme team keeping decisions, sequencing and quality checks aligned.
What RETAIL1 actually owned
A connected scope from design detailing to after-sales support created one clear line of accountability.
Design and planogramming
Site-ready layouts, technical drawings and product plans adapted from Lenovo’s approved formats and the operating needs of each location.
Fixtures and production
Procurement and manufacture of counters, product walls, consultation areas and branded store elements through coordinated production teams.
Civil and technical services
Coordination of civil, electrical, HVAC, networking and FAPA work required to make the store safe, functional and ready to operate.
Signage and façade branding
Internal, external, channel and illuminated signage, including ACP façade treatment and branded surfaces.
Deployment and handover
Store-wise packing, dispatch, site coordination, installation, checks and snag closure against each opening schedule.
Audit and after-sales
Post-launch audits, maintenance coordination and nationwide support after the store moved into operation.
One accountable chain, five working stages
The same programme logic connected the brief, site adaptation, production, movement and final installation.

One RETAIL1 team managed correspondence, priorities and accountability from the first brief onward.
Approved Lenovo standards became site-ready dimensions, drawings, service inputs and material decisions.
Fixtures, branded elements, cladding and signage were coordinated as one build package.
Finished material was packed and dispatched in sequence with each location’s readiness and opening window.
Site teams completed installation, closed checks and handed over a launch-ready Lenovo store.
The scope is visible in the finished store
Product walls, consultation zones, branded surfaces, illuminated signage and façade treatment were delivered as parts of one retail environment—not as disconnected vendor packages.

A programme proven across formats and locations
The relationship began with a single store in FY2020 and expanded as RETAIL1 repeated the same accountable model across new stores and refresh programmes.
Lenovo stores delivered across five financial years, moving the engagement from a first project to a sustained rollout programme.
Unify stores delivered within the wider portfolio, alongside LES and Hybrid formats.

Consistency without treating every store as identical
Lenovo gained a delivery system that could hold the approved retail identity together while responding to the practical conditions of each site.
For RETAIL1, the continued expansion of the mandate—from one store to 124+—is the clearest evidence of the model: one team translating standards into detailed work, coordinating the physical build and staying responsible after handover.
The result was not simply a collection of completed stores. It was a repeatable way to deliver them.
